April 29, 1813 – Raid of Frenchtown MD A raid conducted by a British landing party during Sir John Warren’s harassing operations in Chesapeake Bay (March–September, 1813) on a small settlement about fifteen miles up the Elk River on the road between Baltimore and Philadelphia.
